Thomso 09 : IIT Roorkee Cultural Festival from 29 th October

Recently we covered the NITK Surathkal Engineer , their technical festival .. , somebody dropped in our ears that Roorkee is buzzing with words of Thomso ..so we decided to   unearth this festival .(Actually i received  an email in email campaign from organizers )As usual Cultural festivals of IITs are no less than film festivals( Yup i guess it may be of bollywood standard but it  certainly bypass local film festivals) I remember when i was in my first year and fashion contest was introduced in Our technical Festival ..and  it was the best by far in my life .

Thomso 09 starting from 29 th October to 1 st November will surely raise the level of IIT once again ..(Mind it IIT’s are known for everything ) . I am pretty sure with the tag line For The Gods of Fun , city Roorkee will be reverbating with sounds of music & fun . And to add more charm & prestige Govt. of Uttarakhand has declared it as the Annual Youth Festival of Uttarakhand . So we hope it will be spreading its youthness across the state .

2. All Competitions are free of cost ..No registration fee

1.The Fashion parade : yes now IITs are no longer lagging behind in setting fashion trends .So here is the IIT Roorkee fashion festival.Udita Goswami & Susmita Sen will be there to cheer & judge Participants .

2.Wargasm  : The one thing without wich no culturall festival of IIT can be finished ..I must say IITians have capability to make the No 1 Rock band in the world . IITians just love rock .

3.Xhileration  : Similar to Pronights of Mood Indigo , Rendezvous  & kashiyatra

4. Hasya kavi sammelan : A must one to relieve the stress while dancing continuously .

Yes we love this word Fundoo ..:) , hope Thomson will leave to expectations of word Fundoo ..

As usual the website of Thomson is really attractive and they have  provided both flash & HTML version(this is the trend seen in all cultural festival .. Oops i forgot website usability ..these are technical people man ) and there is facebook , orkut  & twitter pages also but i think NITK Surathkal have surely scored better in this department .

overall Thomso 09 will blow away all records and it will be the biggest fun event in Uttarakhand  ..who knows it can surpass entire North India..
